This page is a collection of statements, blog posts, Bible studies, etc., about Jesus Christ.  He is the reason this ministry exists.  He is the reason any of us at BBF doing anything.  All we do is to obey and please Him.  All we do is for HIs purpose and glory.

Below, you will find those additional materials.  But we want to start out with a simple word about what Jesus means to us and then to provide our "Statement of Faith" about Jesus.

Without Jesus, we would be without purpose in life and without hope.  Any and all who reject Him and claim to have ANY purpose or ANY hope are simply deceived, pathetic lost souls.

Jesus is the Creator (see Genesis 1:1, John 1:1-3, Colossians 1:12-17, etc.).  And even though mankind sinned against Him (Genesis 3:1-5) and rebel against His commandments (Romans 3:10-18), He came to this earth willingly to die for our sins (Mark 10:45, John 6:51).  He saved us from an eternal Hell in the Lake of Fire!  (See Revelation 20:11-15).

As if that were not enough, the more you know Jesus the more you love Him.  The more you know Jesus, the more you realize you don't know.  And the more you know about Jesus, the more you WANT to know about HIm.

The following is our "official" statement about Jesus.  But no such statement could ever do justice to how much we owe to His voluntary death, victorious resurrection and free offer of eternal life:

STATEMENT OF FAITH ABOUT JESUS

 * Jesus of Nazareth was more than a man.  He was and is God the Son, second person of the triune godhead. (Isaiah 9:6, John 1:1, 1 Timothy 3:16 [in the King James Bible only], Philippians 2:5-11, 1 John 5:7, etc.)
*There is no one like Jesus.  Never has been and never will be (Isaiah 45:17-25).  No other Man lived on this earth as He did.  He was begotten of the Holy Ghost (Luke 1:35), born of a virgin Jewess named Mary (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:21-23) and was without the stain of original sin.  He lived a sinless, blameless, unspotted life (2 Corinthians 5:21).  
*He is the beauty of holiness in human form (Psalm 29:2) and the very image of God (Colossians 1:15).  Words cannot describe Him and all the books in the world could not contain all that could be said of His person and His works (John 21:25).  He willingly gave His life as payment for the sins of the whole world (Galatians 1:4, 1 Timothy 2:6, Titus 2:14, 1 John 2:2, Revelation 1:5)
* The Attributes of Jesus cannot be fully described, but we can know of Him from His word in the Holy Bible that He is:
ETERNAL: Isaiah 9:6, Micah 5:2, John 8:35; John 8:58; 1 John 1:2; 1 John 5:11.
FAITHFUL. Revelation 3:14, Revelation 19:11
HOLY: Luke 1:35, Acts 3:14
IMMUTABLE: Hebrews 1:10-12, Hebrews 13:8
INCOMPREHENSIBLE.: Matthew 11:27, Ephesians 3:8, Ephesians 3:19
INFINITE. John 10:28, Ephesians 3:8, Colossians 2:3
LOVE INCARNATE: John 13:1, Romans 8:35-39, Ephesians 3:19
MERCIFUL.: Jude 21, James 5:8-11
OMNIPOTENT: John 5:19, Philippians 3:20-21, Revelation 1:8, Revelation 22:12-13
OMNIPRESENT: Matthew 28:20
OMNISCIENT: John 2:24-25 (compare Jeremiah 17:9-10); John 6:64; 16:30; Colossians 2:3.
PERFECT. Colossians 1:19, Colossians 2:9-10
RIGHTEOUS.: 2 Timothy 4:8, 1 John 2:1
SELF-EXISTENT: John 1:4, John 14:6, Acts 3:15
TRUTH INCARNATE: John 14:6, Revelation 3:7
WISDOM INCARNATE: 1 Corinthians 1:30, Ephesians 1:17, Colossians 2:2-3
